RE: 2001 sculpture
Good find. Yet another example of the monolith as the film itself.
I've just finished editing a 47 min updated version of the "meaning of the monolith revealed" video. It'll be available on the Kubrick Decoded Vol 2 DVD, along with the FMJ analysis, and will be available on ebay in a few days. It also has lots of stuff in it that isn't even in the current expanded article. |

RE: 2001 sculpture
That's actually in stage one of production.
Next they have to take a picture of it, and split it up into millions of pieces. Then it'll materialize in your VHS player and you can watch the movie. It's called "Kubrick Vision". |

RE: 2001 sculpture
If you look a little closer you can see that the tape has not been rewound. I'm guessing that's to represent that it has been watched by the artist and they came to an understanding of it.

The old version of ACO vid is still on volume one The FMJ analysis and updated Meaning of Monolith vid (extended 47 min version) are on the new disc - 1hr 40mins worth. I'm intending on putting together lots more ACO, 2001 and Shining vids to compliment the expanded articles. Some will be on youtube and some will only be on the Kubrick Decoded Vol 3 DVD. The recent ACO vids will also be on Vol 3, along with the HAL=IBM vid. Basically, each new DVD set from now on will feature some new content that isn't on Youtube or the website. |

Quote:The recent ACO vids will also be on Vol 3, along with the HAL=IBM vid. I'm very interested in the IBM and Holocaust connection, so I bought the "IBM and the Holocaust" (Edwin Black) book some months ago. I haven't read it yet, I find myself busy with several others books that I have to read. Have you read it? Is it worth reading? |

IBM did develop the technology to carry out genocide |
