10th Nov 2011 - Feminism and the Disposable Male - a very articulate and honest woman speaks out on a controversial subject.

18th Oct 2011 - Salvador Dali questioned on "What's my line?" His answers are simultaneously surreal, humourous and revealing of the artist's perception of himself.

16th June 2011 - The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism by Emmanuel Goldstein (a fictional character within George Orwell's 1984). I've only just gotten around to reading Orwell's swansong novel. The above link contains the text of a book within a book, as featured by Orwell in the novel. If you never read 1984 I recommend you at least read the text at the above link. It's only 19 pages and eloquently summarizes the complex historical interractions between politics, mass psychology, economics and warfare. Its predictions for the future are, in places, highly reflective of today's political, economic and ideological struggles.

7th June 2011 - Gestalt Therapy demonstration by Fritz Perls. Excellent use of language patterns, roleplay and the challenging of self-defeating belief systems. (running time: 30 mins)

31st Dec 2011 - Richard Bandler clip. For those of you not familiar with NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) this sample video is just one of many available on Youtube. I also recommend many of the early books on NLP such as Frogs Into Princes, Trance-formations, Reframing and Use Your Brain for a Change. Knowledge of NLP is important today not just for self-development, but also because advertising, big business and public opinion management also utilize a great deal of NLP to influence the public.

31st Dec 2011 - Interesting Drum n Bass video by Prolix. There's a lot going on in this.
